Coinich?

I will do that right now.

Voting on game continuity has only been reserved for a game played at a convention, with a few rare exceptions - such as the Admiral driven games of ICON 27 and 28. A CON environment was the only place such games could be delivered and given the Admiral's travel restrictions, the only time to accomplish an Admiral related Task Force operation.

I only started this poll to answer whether or not the group was willing to accept the Quasar game as part of the campaign world. Not necessarily the forum in which we

I votes Yes, primarily because this will shake things up a bit and give us additional options for scenarios and such. One thought I have had that could lend some tension and perhaps bleed into other game scenarios is about communication with the Quasar.

For example, in the old Time Tunnel series they did have a way to sporadically communicate with the guys that were lost in time. Well, the Quasar is a heavy duty science vessel. Surely those scientists can come up with a way of at least leaving or sending status messages to the task force once they have determined where and when they are. Maybe there's a way for the task force to leave a message for the "future" Quasar also, especially if an "event" involving the Quasar had been captured in the historical record and they need to be warned about it to prevent something untoward from happening back in the past (like inadvertantly interfering with Kirk's whale capture and release of the technology for transparent aluminum).

Hmmm, more possibilities there.

Folks, I noticed that there are 11 votes in the poll yet only 10 Trek Players have logged in.

Morgan and Jame - did either of you vote in this poll? Need to know how those who played are thinking and I don't want the numbers to be off.

Please let us know. Thanks.

Since I first signed onto the website, I've had a problem with the website booting me out and forgetting my passwords. Maybe it forgot me again.

Coinich still hasn't changed my vote, but that can wait.

The score is now 6 for (Yes), 4 for (No) and 1 for neutral out of 11 votes.

I don't know who voted from outside the Thursday gaming group, but in the end their should only be 13 votes. Twisted Evil

It wasn't "my" vote. It was a proxy.

I'm shocked it caused this much confusion. You have one regular player who has no interest joining the forums. I speak to said member regularly. You wanted a vote on the forums so I facilitated his vote. 1+1=2 It's really not that hard to figure out.

If the votes were changed already, it would read as the following;

Justin Chase wrote:

I think we are waiting on 2 more votes now. If both turn out to be (No), then we have a tie.
If even one of the remaining two votes is a (Yes) or a (Neutral), the Yes's have it.

Thank you for the update Morgan. I had spoken to that "other" player and he hadn't mentioned he requested that you place his vote. That said, as Justine Chase points out that even if the other two players, who haven't registered yet but indicated via email that they will, were to vote the worst possible outcome would 6 Yes 1 Neutral 6 No.

As my vote was the Neutral Vote I will declare this poll closed.

The "Ayes" have it. Therefore the USS Quasar game run at ICON counts within the Task Force continuity.

We should all move forward now and determine how the "monster" works and what adventures wait the USS Quasar.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Done! Vote changed to add one yes and remove one no for Justin Chase.

After that, I would like to have a few GM's run one game each and if it does well,
we vote whether to keep going or make the final trip home.
Any opinions on this suggestion? Twisted Evil
